| Nothing turns a potential deal sour quicker than trying to fake your way through a pitch. Know your products strengths and weaknesses. Don't hide facts that they will find out anyway. If you are upfront with a company about certain hurdles you expect to run into they may have solutions you have not thought of to solve that issue. If you have competition for the same market tell them how you plan on getting your market share.
