| Wow, tough question. It's been a few years since I took that class in college. The question was "how to simulate conduction heat?" A simulation could be an experiment, a computer simulation or an engineering analysis. - Experiment: this requires a laboratory
- Computer Simulation: requires expensive software and training I don't have. I did find some freeware called QuickField
- Engineering analysis: can be done if you know the properties of the material conducting the heat and the details of the heat source. If the heat varies over time, it is very difficult to calculate without a computer program.
